Bayou Cajun Chicken Wings


12  Chicken wings, thawed

½ C  Vegetable oil

½ C  Vegetable oil or 4 oz butter for spices  

4 T  Bayou Cajun Spice

2 t   Salt 


Stove Top

  1. Heat ½ C vegetable oil in a deep skillet over medium high heat. (The oil should only come halfway up the side of the pan.)
  2. Fry wings until they are browned and crispy (about 15 minutes or until they reach an internal temperature of 165 F).
  3. Heat the remaining ½ C vegetable oil or butter and mix in Bayou Cajun Spice and salt.
  4. Toss wings with butter and spices in a large bowl.
  5. Serve with carrots sticks, celery sticks and your favorite Ranch or Bleu Cheese Dressings.

Air Fryer

  1. These can also be cooked in an air fryer from frozen about 20 – 25 minutes.
