Ingredients
- ½ c. Wheat Chex
- 1 c. Corn Chex
- 1 c. Rice Chex
- ¾ c. Mix Nuts
- ¾ stk. Butter or 6 Tbsp vegetable oil
- ½ c. Gardetto’s Mix
- Pepitas
- 5 Tbsp Santa Fe Spice
- Salt to taste
Preparation
- Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.
- Melt butter or heat oil. Add Southwest Poblano spice mixture and a pinch of salt.
- In a large bowl, stir the Chex mix and add spice mixture.
- Spread Chex mix evenly in a shallow baking pan and bake.
- Stir every 8 minutes while baking.
- Bake for an hour at 250 degrees.
- Remove from the oven, add salt to taste, and dust with 1 additional Tbsp of Southwest Poblano spice.
