Santa Fe Chex Mix

Ready in 45 minutes

Serves 4 people

Ingredients

  • ½ c. Wheat Chex
  • 1 c. Corn Chex
  • 1 c. Rice Chex
  • ¾ c. Mix Nuts
  • ¾ stk. Butter or  6 Tbsp vegetable oil
  • ½ c. Gardetto’s Mix
  • Pepitas 
  • 5 Tbsp Santa Fe Spice
  • Salt to taste

Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees.
  2. Melt butter or heat oil. Add Southwest Poblano spice mixture and a pinch of salt. 
  3. In a large bowl, stir the Chex mix and add spice mixture. 
  4. Spread Chex mix evenly in a shallow baking pan and bake.
  5. Stir every 8 minutes while baking.
  6. Bake for an hour at 250 degrees.
  7. Remove from the oven, add salt to taste, and dust with 1 additional Tbsp of Southwest Poblano spice.
