Ingredients:
Smoky Pigs in a Blanket
2 sheets puff pastry
1 bag Smokey mini hot dogs
4T Santa Fe Spice
1 egg
1T milk
Flour and salt as needed
Avocado Dip
2 ripe avocados, mashed
2 t Lime juice
1T Sour cream
*Mix all ingredients with salt and pepper to taste.
Preparation:
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
- Thaw puff pastry. Mix the egg and milk together.
- Dust the counter surface with flour and roll out the puff pastry. To about ⅛” thickness.
- Cut the pastry into 3.5” squares.
- Brush the pastry with egg and milk mixture.
- Generously sprinkle Santa Fe Spice and salt over the mixture.
- Place the hot dogs diagonally across the pastry and roll up.
- Brush the tops with egg and milk mixture again and sprinkle with spices.
- Bake in the oven for about 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Serve with Avocado Dip.
